Dolç de Mendoza is a 100% Monastrell natural sweet wine, made from grapes harvested from our vineyards located on the El Chaconero estate in the area known as Cabezo de la Virgen, in Villena. Dolç de Mendoza can only be produced in very special years, as it requires particularly healthy grapes that are able to withstand over-ripening on the vine until they are harvested in the first week of December.
Appearance: Dark cherry red with violet reflections, deep and dense in the glass.
Nose: Abundant primary aromas of red berries such as blackberries, blueberries and strawberries impress us, followed by subtle smoky notes and spices such as cinnamon and cloves.
Palate: On the palate, the high level of glycerine and residual sugar caress the palate, followed by soft tannins and acidity that cleanse the palate. The long finish brings back the subtle smoky and toasted bread notes that linger in the mouth for a long time.
