Thousands of years ago, the Greeks and Romans already used ceramic amphorae for the production, transport, and storage of wine. Ceramic Monastrell combines aging in amphorae with aging in French oak barrels. Aging in amphorae imparts great freshness and expressiveness, while barrel aging lends our wines great finesse and elegance, allowing them to be highly respectful of the specific characteristics of our terroir.
